This is a brief update about our recent public consultation - and a ‘thank you’ to everyone who filled in the survey.
It was the first phase of our 2026 consultation. We'll be using your feedback as we prepare to consult again on the future of our service later this year. That's when we'll share more detailed proposals with you.
We had nearly 3,000 public responses, including more than 5,000 free‑text comments. Members of our fire authority will consider the initial analysis at their meeting on 13 April.
